What Is Warhammer?

Warhammer 40,000, or Warhammer 40k, was created by Games Workshop in 1987 and is a tabletop miniature wargame set in a dystopian science fiction universe.

Set in the 41st millennium, Warhammer takes place in a grimdark future where the galaxy is in constant conflict. Humanity, led by the God-Emperor, is on the brink of collapse as they fight to survive against numerous alien species, heretics, and daemonic forces.

In this world, there are no true heroes, and survival is all that matters.

Warhammer Fantasy is a high fantasy tabletop wargame created by Games Workshop in 1983. Set in a grimdark, medieval-inspired fantasy world filled with warring factions, magic, mythical creatures, and powerful deities, the game is played with miniatures representing armies that players command in strategic battles, involving movement, positioning, and dice-rolling to determine the outcome of combats, magic, and ranged attacks.

Leg Warhammer Tattoo

Leg Warhammer Tattoo

@katenski.ink

The Leg is a great place for some first-time tattooers. Areas on the leg, such as the thigh and calves, have a lot of muscle and fat, leading to a more pleasurable tattooing experience, but areas such as the knee will be a lot more painful.

Warhammer Tattoo On The Back

Warhammer Tattoo On The Back

@tymurdenysenko

The back is the quintessential location to get your Warhammer Tattoo if you’re looking for extensive and highly detailed designs. This location has a lot of space on a flat plane, allowing your artist to go crazy with high detailing and large-scale designs.

Warhammer Chest Tattoo

Warhammer Chest Tattoo

@jay2tatts

The chest is the perfect place to get your Warhammer Tattoo with pride. For men, the pectoral muscle offers a lot of space for nice-sized designs, but for women, you will need to find a design that compliments the anatomy of the beast.

Arm With Warhammer Tattoo

Arm With Warhammer Tattoo

@jeffreyttat

The arm is one of the most common places to get a tattoo. This location is also rich in muscle and fat, which dampens the needle’s pain. If you want to show it off often, you will need to wear a vest, but the arm also allows you to cover your design easily for more professional occasions.

Side Warhammer Tattoo

Side Warhammer Tattoo

@stepup.dbn

The side will be a rather painful place to get inked. Areas such as the ribs are close to the bone, which will feel a lot of the needle reverberations during the tattooing process, leading to pain. The skin in this area is also thin, and there is little muscle or fat between the skin and the bones, making the tattooing process more uncomfortable.

Conclusion

While war will forever continue in the Warhammer universe, unfortunately, we have reached the conclusion of our quest to bring you some of the best Warhammer Tattoo Designs.
